DIY [the 99 cent necklace]

 

I was at IKEA shopping for supplies for work, when I spotted this garland in the holiday section. I think it makes a pretty amazing necklace, and you can't beat the price. 99 cents. (it also comes in white too, which I bought as well. I'm thinking about mixing the white and silver together to make one necklace.)

Daylight Savings Time [what season is it?]

It's November and the weather is supposed to be in the 80's all week! It is so funny how during summer, 80 degree weather meant wearing a dress and sandals and now in November I am willing to take the heat so I can feel somewhat fall.... maybe we will have winter by December (I have some jackets I am dying to wear!)

Sequins and a Sasquatch [Halloween]

I didn't really have a costume, but I really wanted to wear my new sequin leggings, so I bought a plain black mask and "glittered" it myself! and Hudson went as a Superhero Sasquatch.

(Sasquatch is our nickname for Hudson, and after we saw this poster we knew exactly what he would be for Halloween!) and it was quite a bit of fun making it!!

Style beyond their years. [JCrew crewcuts]

I have been really inspired by JCrew as of late, the styling of the last catalog has me giddy with excitement. But enough with that, have you seen the styling they did for the crewcuts? Are you kidding me? These little girls are too cute for words.

50 cent shoes [I love estate sales]

I mentioned Estate Sales as one of my favorites here , and they didn't disapoint this weekend. I found these shoes, for 50 cents. I had to search quite a few boxes until I found the pair, but it was well worth the dig, don't you think? Thank you Kristin for the amazing photos!
